Wow the bat in Contagion was so realistic. It freaks me out how realistic it looks
Charl Visser20 klukkustundum síðan
Have you guys seen the tv show dinosaurs from 1991?
MrFernet0720 klukkustundum síðan
I started reading Brandon Sanderson because of Wrens suggestion for Mistborn.
Yanai Madmon20 klukkustundum síðan
Will love to see you react to the pagemaster with macaulay culkin ! i saw it a lot when i was a kid
The Man Delorean20 klukkustundum síðan
The fire look .. Color is the hardest part... Annnddd "Its still not quite there... " Uhhh, a cgi team picking an animation apart isn't too realistic.... Plus its magical fire coming from a fire gods hands, making a man eating fire dragon
rezaka11620 klukkustundum síðan
Sure, it's good for the algorithm, but i press "L" on every single video of yours so i don't get spoiled.
Mika Thürler20 klukkustundum síðan
best book ever. I agree. Please read the way of kings
David20 klukkustundum síðan
You guys should have a look at the final scene from raised by wolves. Excellent CG the whole way through and then that last scene looks janky AF
ARYAN20 klukkustundum síðan
Hey can you react to ted and ted 2. The vfx are good
PrøjectŁ20 klukkustundum síðan

Stuart Tupp20 klukkustundum síðan
For old-timey special effects - how about the asteroid rolling down the tunnel in The Black Hole?
Magnets20 klukkustundum síðan
Hey! Watch some Red Dwarf (British Sci-fi sitcom) in the next one, some really (deliberately?) bad practical effects in there
althrox20 klukkustundum síðan
react to "1941" the battle on Hollywood Blvd.
Angela Pratt20 klukkustundum síðan
Thanks to Corridor, I now watch every movie looking for "janky" scenes. Like watching Little Things recently. It's a movie set in the 90s and I was looking at the wide shot highway scenes and watching the shadows of the vehicles to see if I could spot the CG stuff.

Sweet home on Netflix!
bigvladi20 klukkustundum síðan
You want janky? MICHAEL JACKSON'S MOONWALKER
Sav Rose20 klukkustundum síðan
You should react to The Last Starfighter! Some great effects in that film; special & practical even. In the scene where his "clone" is in the process of turning into him. So gnarly! And of course all the great 80s space stuff. It was apparently one of the first films to heavily use computer graphics for its special effects & it definitely shows! But it adds great character to the film itself.
The Lisan al Gaib20 klukkustundum síðan
Y'all can check out The Rocketeer from 1991.
Alejandro Ojeda20 klukkustundum síðan
I can't believe this is episode 40 already
Addles20 klukkustundum síðan
How did you guys not even mention the fleshy hand at the end of a robot arm on 2014 Robocop?
Kris P TV20 klukkustundum síðan
Would be cool to do cgi/stunt react on the original Mortal Kombat movies because they are... interesting.
Ryan Smith20 klukkustundum síðan
So happy to be here for the 40th episode. Been here since the 1st. Plan to be here for the 100th
E E20 klukkustundum síðan

Daniel Kadlec20 klukkustundum síðan

Dokoboe20 klukkustundum síðan
Dont do that 11:11 shit. Thats a shit thing to do to get people on your site.
Michael Boland20 klukkustundum síðan
American Werewolf In London has some neat old-school practical effects for the transformation, and then for the sequel they switched to 3D animation and it looks way goofier
GBlastMan20 klukkustundum síðan
you want ancient CGI effects? how about the TV series Sliders? man that show has some pretty ancient CGI effects indeed, specially the portal effects changing from season to season, and some quite interesting early 3D Dinosaur CGI as well.
Shock Jr20 klukkustundum síðan
Back to the future visual effects
Ninety Ten20 klukkustundum síðan
the frozen bullet almost looks like they shot smoke pellets in a similarly lit setting and composited it in, using some vfx to blend the two together. it looks phenomenal
William Upchurch20 klukkustundum síðan
How good is that book series!
S. C.20 klukkustundum síðan
I glad you made this video, Linus is an Annoying Ass! By contrast, all of you guys rock!,
the_original_jake20 klukkustundum síðan
The fuckin bat??! A BAT?!
Andrew Bulman20 klukkustundum síðan
React to the train fight scenes in Skyfall and Spectre! See how the stunts evolved across the two films
saiyanprince98920 klukkustundum síðan
So you need to check out crazy samurai 400 vs 1. Came out last year. Run time is 92 minutes and it was apparently shot in one take without stopping. Unless you already talked about it and I missed it. Looks badass.
Thomas20 klukkustundum síðan
King Arthur legends of the Sword has some really cool shots. Both the growing up scene and the fight scene!
james G20 klukkustundum síðan
I just realized that among us is literally just a spinoff of trouble in terrorist town
Beth Butcher20 klukkustundum síðan
Have they done little shop of horrors? The plant puppets where awesome
Vengeance Abel20 klukkustundum síðan
For the next episode, I highly recommend Jackie Chan's 2004 film New Police Story it has a lot of amazing and back breaking stunts.
SuperiorGo20 klukkustundum síðan

PYR0 II20 klukkustundum síðan
I have had audible since wren mentioned mistborn and I only recently discovered that there are more than 3 books
Stephanie Moss20 klukkustundum síðan
It's probably more stunts than SFX but the British TV show London's Burning has some great fire scenes and stunts. Please check out.
gorkem acikgoz20 klukkustundum síðan
You should have talked about how made GORO ?in my non educated knowledge; it is so bad...!!!
LowRes9620 klukkustundum síðan
Robocop is a satire not to he taken seriously. So the janky movement fits perfectly.
sebastian nørregaard20 klukkustundum síðan

Andreas Bengter20 klukkustundum síðan
would you rent that house after seeing this film.. not sure if this is good advertisment for the rental place? ;)

Pigman 9o20 klukkustundum síðan
Could you guys make a rated r movie rated g like a horror movie?
Ghost A20 klukkustundum síðan
I love the miniatures ed209 stuff can we get a full react episode to just miniatures?? Miniature Makers react?? Theres a short film called slice of life from 2019 that used a ton of miniatures to recreate the look from blade runner!!
Jimmie Walker20 klukkustundum síðan
I honestly thought they used Arnold Rendering for the bat instead of Mental Ray
clayton gilbert20 klukkustundum síðan
Wren! Please make a video on Brandon Sandersons ‘Mistborn’ physics!
Dagon Briggs20 klukkustundum síðan
Have they covered Cloverfield???
Tim Chuma20 klukkustundum síðan
The 1976 version of King Kong was the equivalent of a $100 million movie today. The SFX crew had the giant gorilla arms flip off Dino de Larentis and they got stuck and it took a week to fix. Great suit work from Rick Baker.
Lkf20 klukkustundum síðan
90s movies. Lost in Space and Death Becomes Her.

Barry Warner20 klukkustundum síðan
Not CGI but watch "One Cut Of The Dead" for some great special effects.....and they show how they did them. Great film as well, stick with it.
Derek Keenan20 klukkustundum síðan
Wren's bat impression was pretty spot on
kalin20 klukkustundum síðan
charater creator
John Phelyno20 klukkustundum síðan
Batman is disgusting if he move like that Wren
Caelan Wilson20 klukkustundum síðan
You guys should definitely take a look at Stargate from 1994. Many of the special effects were practical but they are very impressive even by today’s standards.
Curious Cat20 klukkustundum síðan
Every time I watch these vlogs, more and more I want to meet Nick.
Nodex20 klukkustundum síðan
The TMNT movies are def worth a look
BouncekDeLemos20 klukkustundum síðan
90s movie? Fire in the Sky. That movie messed me up as a kid. So many great effects though.
Spider Spectre20 klukkustundum síðan
Further evidence Disney isnt doing well with SW.
Bill Veusay20 klukkustundum síðan
The Alien movies. A lot to unpack there. The comparison from practical to CG, the really bad CG alien from the third episode (1993) to the quite decent one in the fourth (1997) the Ripley vs Queen Alien fight, the juicy anecdotes on the tricks they used in the first one to compensate for their lack of budget (like putting kids in small astronaut suits to make the environments look bigger). I'd say there's even too much to talk about for a single episode.
ZombieZoo200220 klukkustundum síðan
I would love to see you guys react to the volcano eruption scene at the end of the 1967 James Bond film “You Only Live Twice”. I couldn’t find an exact clip on ISboth but they show a quick clip of it at the end of this video isboth.info/total/0oGMl6SkoYPHrdk/v-deo
